Happy New Year and welcome to my LiveJournal. At this point in time and until I can think of a better name, I'm going to be calling this little place Tar Frimmer's Guide to Nothing. This will mostly be a place for me to ramble on about my entertainment obsessions - TV shows, movies, DVDs, books, video games, etc. I'll make every effort to clearly mark any spoilers so as not to ruin the plots for those who haven't seen whatever it is I'm going on about.
I'll also be sharing various bits of entertainment (or odd) news I find throughout each day. Since Veronica Mars is my biggest TV addiction right now and is the only online fandom I'm actively participating in, there will probably be a lot of Mars-related posts by me here. Consider yourselves warned. ;)
Just to give an idea of the types of shows and movies I'll be talking about, I've made up a few lists. Hey, what would the end of a year be without lists, lists, and more lists?

I know I left something off at least one of these lists and will later be smacking hand to forehead, but those are the favorites that come to mind right at this moment. I'm not sure it's all that obvious, but I'd actually consider my favorite genre to be horror. Followed by science fiction and fantasy. There really are no genres that I'm adverse to. Same with music, with the exception of country/western, which I'm just really not into. Really not into. (With the exception of a little bit of the older Johnny Cash type of music.)
Well, that's it for the introductory post. As I watch my TV shows and movies, I'll pop on over here to share my thoughts. I may be back later this holiday weekend with some end-of-the-year Veronica Mars talk and probably a few Battlestar Galactica thoughts as I work my way through the episodes.
Comments
I had noticed we had at least a few shows in common. Looking forward to new episodes soon!
